Faye’s ‘spare’ time is taken up with something she is very passionate about – raising the status of women, both in Australia, and around the world.
Faye has received several awards for the work she has done in this field including the BPW Australian Woman of the Year and the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow Award, “in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world”.
It seemed a perfect fit when she was first introduced to DAYS FOR GIRLS in 2014.
Since then Faye has started up and supported the DfG North Strathfield Team and also served as President of the Board of DAYS FOR GIRLS AUSTRALIA LIMITED for over two years. Faye remains on the Board.
One of Faye’s personal highlights was delivering kits to young girls in remote Bhutan. The privilege of helping to empower young women with the gift of dignity and education is a gift not taken lightly and she continues to support the BGP to achieve the goal of reaching every girl, everywhere, in Bhutan.
